The AATPR20 printer connects directly to any AA1000 series or AA360 tester. The combined tester -- printer unit is encased in a rugged nylon cover creating a highly durable and convenient complete battery testing system. Are the AATPR20 and AATPR10 printers interchangeable?

No. Though they appear nearly identical, these two printers are not interchangeable. The AATPR10 will work only with the AA500P tester. The AATPR20 includes newer features that are compatible only with the AA1000 series and AA360 testers.

How many test reports can be printed from one roll of paper?

Approximately 20 test reports can be printed from a single roll. Replacing the paper requires approximately 30 seconds.

Can more than one AA tester use the same printer?

The printer can be attached and removed in a matter of seconds from any tester with a printer port, much like a battery pack on a cordless drill. Technically one printer may be easily shared by a number of compatible testers.

Can I customize the AATPR20 printed test report to print our name and address?

Yes. There are three lines of text at the top of the test report that can be programmed by the user. The custom header for the AATPR20 is programmed using the Argus Data Manager software.

Will the AA1000/360 tester work on discharged batteries?

Yes, the AA1000 series and AA360 testers are specifically designed to allow the testing of discharged batteries. In most situations there is no need to charge a battery before testing.
However, if the charge level is extremely low (below 11.8V), some test results will be automatically disabled. If the battery voltage is below 6.0V the printer will not operate and below 4.5V the tester will not operate. In this situation, the battery must be charged before testing.

Can test results be printed?

Yes, if you are using the AA1000 series or AA360 tester, the AATPR20 thermal printer can be attached to print test reports. The printer is available as an option or can be purchased as a kit with the tester - choose the part number with 'RP' (AA1000-RP, AA360-RP.) The AATPR20 printer also includes a memory to save up to 1000 test reports.

Can I print test reports in languages other than English?

Yes. The test report can be printed in up to 22 languages, and we are adding new languages all the time. The report language is set up at the same time the date and time are initially set, and it can be changed at any time. AATPR10 details. AATPR20 details.
