The test report is the most effective way to document the condition of a battery. Now with Data Manager, your test reports are permanently stored and are conveniently emailed printed, or pasted into your electronic records.  Any test record can be easily recalled or reproduced at any time for comparison and advanced analysis.  

Test reports stored in the AATPR20 print and memory module are automatically imported into Argus Data Manager by simply connecting the printer to your PC with the USB cable.  Test reports in Data Manager can be effortlessly edited to include additional information such as battery and vehicle details.

Can I register my tester through Data Manager?

Yes.  The first time you attach your printer/memory module to import test reports, Data Manager will ask you to register your tester.  Follow a few brief prompts and your tester will be automatically registered in our database.

Can Data Manager test reports be loaded into our shop management software?

Yes.  Test reports can be copied from Data Manager and pasted into any Windows application.

Can I use Data Manager to track tests performed on the tester?

Yes.  If the tester (AA1000 or 360) has a printer/memory module attached and the tester is set-up to 'save' reports, then every test performed will be stored on the memory module.  All saved reports are imported into Data Manager whenever the printer/memory is connected to a PC running data manager.  The reports can be sorted by date, time or any other test parameter.

What PCs will Data Manager run on?

Data Manager is designed to run on Windows PCs that are running the following operating systems:

  • Windows XP
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows 7

At this time, Data Manager is not enabled for mac, Linux, iOS, Android or other systems.

Does the AATPR20 include a USB cable?

Yes.  A USB cable is included in the AATPR20 box and also in every 'RP kit' box.  If you purchase a memory enabled product - it will include a USB cable.

Is Argus Data Manager software available in languages other than English?

Yes.  Data Manager includes a 'preferences' selection for most major world languages.  Install the software and select preferences to customize many features including the desired language.  See the manual for details.

Will Data Manager work with more than one tester?

Yes.  You can use Argus Data Manager to import test reports from as many memory modules as you own.  Some shops will have multiple testers (memory modules) and wish to save the records to a single PC.  After records are imported to Data Manager, test records can be sorted by tester serial number for easy searching.

Is Data Manager easy to install?

Yes.  Argus Data Manager is very easy to install.  Simply download the program from our website and the installation wizard will do the rest.  Data Manager is designed to install and run on any Windows XP, Vista or W7 operating system.

Can I customize the AATPR20 printed test report to print our name and address?

Yes.  There are three lines of text at the top of the test report that can be programmed by the user.  The custom header for the AATPR20 is programmed using the Argus Data Manager software.
